As the title says, I'm going to round roughly 46 miles (hence the 50'ish'), if I go the right way. From Haydock Park Racecourse, to The Sir Tom Finney Stadium in Bamber Bridge... Here's the back story if you wish to read.
Throughout lockdown, I ate. Well, didn't everyone? We binged and barely moved. The first week of June I had a severe sciatica attack which left my bed bound for around 3 days. Unable to help my wife, be a parent to our children or go to work. It's at that moment I decided I needed to at least try to do something so I did what everyone else in the UK was doing, looked for a bike to help shift the weight. Surely that'll help, right?
I've been cycling since early June and have managed to clock up over 139 miles which isn't bad going for someone who's just got the bike.
On Saturday 29th August, Chorley face Bamber Bridge in a Pre season friendly and what better way to get there than cycling along the canal from Haydock to Bamber Bridge.
Wish me luck, dig deep and hopefully see a few of you there.
Great effort Jue!
Well done Jue
Certainly not the most photogenic image I've uploaded but here's something in the form of an update. I cycled to and from work the other day, going was glorious summer morning. Coming home was not...
