Hello!
So...WE DID IT!!
Lilly, Poppy, Eilish, Harry, Keira Ashley and Daisy along with their yummy mummies Kirstie, Emmi and Donna, this morning took part in the Stadium MK Super Hero Fun Run!
We had a great time, the weather was kind and there was a great atmosphere all around!
Sadly, due to medical reasons, Georgia and Sonny were unable to join us and we wish them both a speedy recovery!
Thank you so much to all who have already donated and the masses of support we have had! There's still time to donate and show your support and help us raise some money for our beloved Families United Network...a charity very close to all our hearts!
Families United Network (FUN) is a registered Charity and membership organisation which works to support children, young people and families living with disabilities throughout Bedfordshire.
"Bringing up children and young people with disabilities and special needs can be demanding as well as rewarding. Some children may present particular challenges or require intensive care and support.
The Holiday Clubs (which we all attend) are a lifeline and offer practical support for families, offering friendship and support for parents & carers – and a range of creative, stimulating and FUN activities for special needs children and young people and their siblings."
This is just one of the invaluable services the charity provides. The staff and volunteers are amazing and we are hoping that by running 5km around Stadium MK on Monday 4th May 2015, we can raise some vital funds!
So dig deep people, please give whatever you can and help us achieve our target!
