Our Walk in Our Shoes campaign invites people to take a walk in support of parent carers and families of neurodivergent children and young people.
Through this community fundraising and awareness initiative, participants will help us collectively complete 50K, symbolising the significant commitment parent carers make each year, including attending appointments, assessments, meetings, therapies, educational reviews, and support services for their children. The campaign aims to increase understanding of neurodiversity and raise awareness of the dedication, resilience, and advocacy shown by parent carers as they navigate complex systems to secure the support their children need. By bringing the community together, we hope to foster greater inclusion, acceptance, and understanding while standing beside local families. By taking part, supporters are helping to send a powerful message:
“Walk in Our Shoes. Walk Beside Our Families.”
