The Balloon Biathlon is a one day fund raising challenge in the beautiful Wye Valley to raise funds for the mental health charity I Can & I Am. It consists of a 10 mile mountain bike ride up and around Symonds Yat Rock followed by a 10 mile canoe safari along the River Wye. This will be demanding but hopefully achievable! Peppered throughout the day will be opportunities to hear from and speak to James Shone who’ll be participating in the entire event, accompanied by the rest of the I Can & I Am team. 

 

The I Can & I Am double decker bus has had an overwhelming reception since its launch in 2021. The time has come to add a second bus and this fundraiser will provide a much needed contribution towards this goal. In 2022 alone the bus visited 46 schools and welcomed 5,081 pupils on board. Wherever it goes, the feedback is unfailingly positive and proves that I Can & I Am are serving a very real need in tackling some of the many challenges faced by young people today. Let's continue to inflate balloons of self-belief for even more young people.
