At the start of this year, I signed up for the Half Marathon on 4th October 2026 as a personal challenge. There was no big reason behind it, just a goal I wanted to set myself.
If you know me, you’ll know that I’m definitely not a runner. In fact, it’s been one of the toughest challenges I’ve taken on, and the training has been far harder than I ever expected. Every run is pushing me well outside my comfort zone.
A lot of people have asked me, “Why not do it for charity?” The more I thought about it, the more it made sense.
So I’ve decided to run in support of Daffodils Dreams, a charity that means a great deal to me and my business Just Digital. We’ve proudly supported them for several years, and they’re dedicated to creating brighter futures for underprivileged children by providing opportunities, experiences and support that many young people simply wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
If I’m going to put myself through 13.1 miles, I’d love for it to make a real difference to children who deserve the chance to dream bigger and experience opportunities that can have a lasting impact on their lives.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I’d be incredibly grateful. Whatever the total amount is when I run my business Just Digital will match.
Every penny will go towards helping Daffodil Dreams continue the amazing work they do and create more opportunities for children who need them most.
Thank you so much for your support. It will mean a lot to me, but even more to the children whose lives your donation could help improve.
