My name is Cara and I am completely new to running!! I hope this journey inspires you to help me raise money for a really lovely local charity to me ✨I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon in April 2026 ✨

My daughter Poppy is our whole entire world , she’s funny, cheeky and sees the world in a unique way. Poppy has autism and it’s completely changed our world. This is for all the send parents who are advocating, fighting and pleading for our children’s needs to be heard. This journey is beautiful and heartbreaking all at once 🩷 it’s the sleepless nights, learning the law and forms so many forms ! It’s special interests that become yours , it’s finding a safe food and praying it doesn’t get discontinued! It’s 5 steps forward and two steps back. It’s being so proud that you could cry and being so scared for the future. Above all it’s love , unconditional love.
