On Thursday 8 October 2026, brave supporters will take on the Carers Leeds Fire Walk at Mabgate Mills, walking barefoot across hot coals to raise money for unpaid carers across Leeds.

Every donation will help Carers Leeds continue providing vital information, advice and support to unpaid carers in our local community. Whether you donate £10, £25, £50 or whatever you can afford, your support will help us turn this daring challenge into meaningful support for carers.
Our Fire Walk is part of our “30 Things for 30 Years” fundraising challenge, celebrating 30 years of Carers Leeds supporting unpaid carers.
You can support our Fire Walkers by donating towards their fundraising goals, sharing their challenge with friends and family, or coming along to cheer them on.
Feeling brave? You can take part too! For £40, you can book your place and take on the Fire Walk yourself. We’re asking each participant to aim to raise at least £100 in sponsorship.
The Fire Walk begins at 7pm, with arrival and safety briefing from 6pm, delivered by the experienced Fire Walk UK team.
Friends, family and supporters are also welcome to join us at Mabgate Mills and enjoy the wider community event, with food, drink, attractions and other fundraising activities.
