Later this year I will be taking on an epic 100km Trek challenge across the Sahara Desert🐫 to raise funds for Nugent 🤩
Departing on 12 November 2023, I will embark on the most amazing and challenging 7-day adventure! This is no trip of a lifetime or ambition... in fact, I'm quite nervous about the whole affair! At the point of signing up, I'm really unfit and over weight!
I've chosen to focus my fundraising on one project in particular. Nugent care for people of all ages, and they would like to create a wonderful outdoor space for the well being of some teenagers in their care. To give these young people, who have been challenged with trauma, complex needs, and medical conditions, with a sensory wildlife garden 🌻 and therapy animals🐇 would be a lovely outcome for the months of hard work, training, and fundraising!
