Every morning at the Pilgrim Centre on Regent Circus in Swindon, volunteers cook fresh breakfasts for people who need them. Sausages, eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, unlimited hot drinks, the whole lot. No referral needed. Everyone's welcome. They serve people who are homeless or in temporary accommodation, people without proper heating or cooking facilities, people who can't afford a hot meal. Doors open 7:30am to 9:00am, every single day, bank holidays included.
It's more than food. It's a warm space where people can sit, meet others and feel safe. When guests need it, volunteers point them towards support that can actually change things. The charity is entirely volunteer-run.
What Danny and Brad Are Doing About it
Starting on 22nd August, Danny (Peach Estate Agents) and Brad (ESS) are setting off from Swindon and walking all the way to Woolacombe. 250km, over 5 days.
That's roughly a whole marathon everyday, for five days straight, to raise money for a charity that feeds people breakfast every morning of the year.
Every penny raised goes straight to Big Breakfast Plus. Keeping breakfasts going, doors open and the people of Swindon supported.
