Five‑year‑old Eliza is gearing up for a whizzy, whirly, whooshy sponsored scoot! Over three fun-filled weeks, she’ll be zooming her way through 21 km, finishing on 21st March for World Down Syndrome Day 💛💙.
With every push of her scooter, Eliza shows her amazing determination, her huge heart, and her brilliant spirit. She’s proving that she can achieve wonderful things in her own time and in her own way — and she’s doing it all to help raise awareness about Down syndrome and spread a message of inclusion across our community.
The Bedfordshire Down’s Syndrome Support Group is a lifeline for local families, offering early development groups, speech and communication support, social meet‑ups, and guidance for every step of the journey. Their work brings families together, builds confidence, and helps children shine.
