In September, I will be running on behalf of Music Therapy Bedfordshire and Embrace for Star Group, a specialist weekly therapeutic group for infants with complex needs and their carers. The group combines physiotherapy support with music therapy and for 6 years, Embrace, an incredible local charity have funded the music therapy component. Sadly, due to the significant cuts charities have recently experienced, Embrace now need your donations so we can continue to provide music therapy to support these incredible children and their families.

Incorporating Music Therapy into an early intervention physiotherapy group means we can use music, sound and instruments to help the children engage in physiotherapy activities in an enjoyable and meaningful way.

It is a low pressure, fun and safe environment where carers know they will be listened to and supported whilst they adjust to their child's complex medical conditions and physical disabilities.
