Charity Football Match: FDS vs Arc House — raising money for Frome Birth Talk

On Sunday 2nd August, the FDS lads are pulling on their boots to take on Arc House at Writhlington School (kick-off 10am), all in aid of Frome Birth Talk.

This one's personal. A number of us in the FDS group have used Frome Birth Talk's services ourselves, through a tough pregnancy, the overwhelm of a new baby, or just needing someone to talk to as a new dad.

It's a small local charity, run on grants and donations with no government funding, offering free counselling to parents across Frome and the surrounding area. Their support made a real difference to us when we needed it most, and this match is our way of giving something back.

Our goal is to raise £500. A counselling session costs Frome Birth Talk around £50 to deliver, so hitting our target could fund 10 sessions for a parent who needs support.
