Workshop Overview
This workshop covers the range of skills required to create a piece of cinema. It enables expression, storytelling, teamwork and empowerment. It achieves this by bringing a group of Young People together to identify a core subject that is important to them. The group captures that core subject on film so it can be explored and shared with others.
The core subject could be anything, such as a topic the group have in common, an issue they are concerned about or something they all want to promote.
They will be taught how to write a script, use production equipment, edit sound and visuals and many more techniques required to bring their story to life ready for public consumption.
