I decided to run this half marathon because I needed something meaningful to work towards. I wanted a challenge that would push me, something that would help me feel proud of myself and remind me of my own strength.
Alongside this personal goal, I wanted to give something back. Mental health has been a huge part of my life, and because of that, choosing Harmless felt deeply personal. This isn’t just a race to me, it’s a reflection of my journey and the struggles I’ve faced, as well as those that so many others continue to experience.
This marathon represents more than miles run. It represents growth, resilience, and hope. I want to be someone others can rely on, just as I have relied on the support, kindness, and understanding of others during my hardest moments. By taking on this challenge, I hope to show that even through difficulty, something positive and meaningful can come from it.

A half marathon that is taking place in Nottingham. My aim is to get a time of 2 hours (hopefully). This is my first ever running event so I hope it goes well :).
