We all want healthy rivers - for all the obvious reasons. The SPC Action Group already helps with regular measurements of chemical pollution of the Tillingbourne and the Wey. Now we want to add a monthly test for E.coli at four locations. This will enable us to assess and combat sewage discharges and agriculture run-off. The results will be fed into the time series data at Water Rangers (https://waterrangers.com/river-wey/?srsltid=AfmBOooFr0n-BZnNRB-TeN7BtUYfz0kOz2wmN5XTIJOs9tDzI9YiwYYy) so that we can look at the whole watershed area. However, E.coli testing cost £15 per test; so we need £60 a month to fund this. Please help by making a regular monthly donation (on this site) to help us towards this total.
