Hugo is taking on Yorkshire's three largest peaks in this iconic challenge to raise much needed funds for Sunshine and Smiles, a support network in Leeds for children and young people who have Down syndrome and their families.
He will be taking on the challenge on Saturday 3 May 2025. Starting at Horton in Ribblesdale, he will walk through the Yorkshire Dales and summit Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside. The route is approximately 25 miles with 1,585m of ascent - no mean feat for a 9 year old!
Hugo has chosen Sunshine and Smiles after hearing about the important Speech and Language Therapy the charity provided to a former pupil at his primary school. Further information on the charity and their work can be found at: https://sunshineandsmiles.org.uk/about-us.
Many thanks for supporting Hugo and Sunshine and Smiles.
