On May 12th I will be climbing the Yorkshire 3 peaks with a team of my Emperor colleagues to raise money for PAPYRUS, the suicide prevention charity. 24 miles in 12 hours with a regular blast of 'ain't no mountain high enough' as we go! 2026 is a milestone year for me - it brings a big birthday as I hit fifty and it also marks the tenth anniversary of the sale of Accrue Fulton to Emperor. Reflecting on the last five decades and in particular this last one, I recognise that I have so much to be thankful for. Lots I confess, I so often take for granted, so I'm keen to mark this year by finding ways to give back more and taking part in this challenge is part of that. PAPYRUS is a charity close to my heart, having lost three people I was close to, to suicide in the space of a six month period, a couple of years back. It breaks my heart the number of lives it claims and PAPYRUS work tirelessly in the area of suicide prevention amongst young people. I don't need more 'stuff' for my 50th but what would mean the world is your support for this and other challenges I am taking part in this year. Lets raise some serious money for this amazing charity!
