I’m raising money for The Renewal Trust because strong communities don’t happen by accident, they are built by people and organisations willing to invest in others when it matters most.
The Renewal Trust works at the heart of Nottingham communities, supporting children, young people, families and older residents through wellbeing programmes, youth activities, community spaces and practical support for those facing hardship. Their work helps create healthier, more connected and more resilient communities across the city.
What makes their work so important is that they don’t just provide short-term help; they create opportunities for people to thrive. Whether it’s giving young people positive environments to grow, helping families through difficult periods, supporting wellbeing or bringing isolated people back into community life, the impact reaches far beyond the individuals directly involved.
At a time when many communities face increasing pressures, local charities like The Renewal Trust play a vital role in keeping communities connected and giving people hope, purpose and support close to home.
This isn’t about asking for sympathy or charity for charity’s sake. It’s about backing an organisation that is actively helping Nottingham become a stronger, healthier and better place to live.
Nottingham thrives when its communities thrive, and that’s why I’m proud to support The Renewal Trust.
Thank you for your donation big or small it makes a real difference.

On 4 June, I’ll be joining over 300 NatWest colleagues hiking 14 miles across the Peak District in conjunction with Team GB and ParalymicsGB. The following day, I’ll complete a further 5-mile walk around the city's iconic sporting venues, culminating in an arrival at the Robin Hood statue Nottingham
