Joining the Link has reminded me there is life after 90.”
On Sunday 20th September at 11a.m. a team of Link Friends, staff and volunteers will be taking part in the Wokingham Swimathon 2026.
They will be swimming in relay for 50 minutes with the aim of collecting as much sponsorship as possible. The Link is dedicated to reducing loneliness by supporting older people to build friendships and community connections. Monies raised will be used towards the Link's Christmas Activity Programme.
Your donation, however small, will be enormously appreciated as we know the winter is going to be a very tough time for lots of older people. Thank you for any help you can give.
Wokingham Lions Club organises the whole of this community event with support from Nuffield Health Wokingham and Clifton Ingram Solicitors.
