My name is Mollie-Mai and it will be my first time running the London Marathon on the 26th April 2026.
I am running in memory of my best friend Amelie who passed away 23rd February 2026. It would have been her 21st birthday on the 26th April, Marathon Day! So this one’s for her! We usually celebrate together as my birthday is just days after. So this year I’ll be celebrating by running for her (in bright pink, because if it wasn’t pink or Hello Kitty, then Amelie didn’t wanna know about it 😊 !) and hopefully raise some money, however big or small, to help prevent this from happening to other people.
The Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund helps provide vital counselling to young people between the ages 13 - 19 in Gravesham.
