In 2025, I am undertaking to walk the length of every Road in Brighton. That's road, street, avenue, la(i)ne, close, cul-de-sac and byways. Along the way I will be photographing interesting aspects of Brighton (including every Public House I pass) check these out on the instagram account mileswalksbrighton.

Inspired by the aerial drone shots of Brighton used in ITV's Grace, I was took with the idea of exploring the whole of our city, getting to know every neighbourhood.

For over three years I have been a Companion at Sussex Emmaus in Portslade, at the western edge of Brighton. The Community has been at the heart of my recovery from my darkest place, emotionally, mentally if not quite physically (maybe this challenge will help!). Solidarity, giving back, is at the heart of Emmaus' ethos, so I am hoping with your help to give something back to my particular Community.
