Milton Football Club is raising funds to install a new drainage system on our training pitch.
Poor drainage regularly leaves the pitch waterlogged, restricting training and making it difficult for players to use the facility consistently throughout the season. Improving the drainage will help us provide a safer, more reliable training surface for current players and future generations.
To support the project, we are taking on the Milton 2 Milton Walk on Saturday 4 July 2026.
The challenge will see players, volunteers, supporters, friends and family walk approximately 28 km from Stadium MK to Milton Malsor.
People are welcome to complete the full walk, join us for part of the route, meet us at one of our stops along the way, or support the challenge by making a donation.
We are also working with Save Our Grassroots, which has agreed to match the money raised through the campaign. This means every donation will have an even greater impact.
As part of the wider project, Save Our Grassroots will also support environmental improvements around the club, which may include tree planting and enhancements to the existing natural area.
The project will deliver lasting sporting and environmental benefits by:
• improving the reliability and condition of our training pitch
• reducing disruption caused by waterlogging
• providing better facilities for players and volunteers
• helping secure the long-term future of the club
• enhancing the surrounding environment
Milton Football Club has been part of the local community since 1888. With your support, we can continue improving the club for everyone who uses and supports it.
Please donate whatever you can and share the fundraiser with friends, family and local businesses.
Every step counts. Every donation makes a difference.
