On 11 July I'll be taking on the 100km Race to the Stones trail run from Lewknor to Avebury to raise money for Home-Start Reading.

Home-Start provides practical, home visiting support to families with children under five who are facing challenges with their health, wellbeing or family circumstances. Having been a Trustee for the past four years, I've seen first hand just how hard the Home-Start team of staff and volunteers work, and what a life changing difference they make to local families when they need it most.

So, I'm packing my rucksack with water, trekking poles, blister plasters, a head torch and plenty of podcasts, ready for what will be a very, very long day on the trails.
