As members of the Ethiopian and Rastafarian communities in Bristol, Bath, and around the world, we are trying to run 905km between us - the distance from Addis Ababa to Adwa - to commemorate the 126th anniversary of the Ethiopian victory against colonisation at Adwa. We are raising funds to support Friends of Fairfield House who are working to preserve and maintain the legacy of Emperor Haile Selassie, who gave Fairfield House as a gift to the people of Bath.
