The date 6th October 2019. The challenge - my first half marathon! I've never run this far in my life although I have cycled it a hundred times over. There's a big difference between running and cycling - I know cause I hate running but love cycling. And therein lies the challenge - I'm doing something I hate doing and have never considered doing in my life until now. There's a simple reason - I'm doing it for charity and I also want to prove to myself that running isn't all that bad and if done sensibly (I failed there) it can be good for your health and it's free.
