I’m running the Battersea Marathon in memory of my uncle, who tragically lost his life to depression in 2021. His loss deeply affected our family, and it opened my eyes to how many men suffer in silence. Since then, I’ve seen other male members of my family face their own mental health struggles often quietly, without the support they need.
This run is for my uncle, for my family, and for every man battling depression, anxiety, or any mental health challenge. Too many men feel they have to cope alone, and too many lives are lost because of it.
I’m raising money for Men’s Minds Matter to help support the incredible work they do in suicide prevention and mental health support for men. Every donation, no matter the size, will help fund life-saving interventions and give more men the chance to get the help they deserve.
If you can, please donate or share together, we can make a real difference.
