OMG - I'm actually doing this!

So..... I entered the London marathon ballot as a "joke" at the eleventh hour (literally), so you can imagine my heart in mouth moment when I got a ballot place! Jenson (my son) when he was 9, ran a marathon in a month for charity, so how could I turn this place down!

16 weeks training started in January, and includes 4 half marathons to be completed in training before I even get to the start line 😂

I then thought long and hard about putting this ballot place to good use and raise money for a charity that was close to my heart and decided on a brilliant local charity Parenting Special Children. PSC supported us at the beginning of our neurodivergent parenting journey, and we will be forever thankful for their support, understanding, guidance and confidence they gave us.

Parenting Special Children can have a life-changing impact on local families. From running a dedicated helpline and support groups, to offering parenting workshops, a trauma service and more, this charity makes a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
