For 2026 I have signed up for the Montane Spine Sprint Event - a 43 mile Ultra Run/Walk across the Pennine Way.

The event takes place in June but the challege starts now...first; the training to get to the start line and then to tackle each of the 43 miles from Edale in the Peak District to Hebden Bridge, North Yorkshire.

I have chose to add a fundraising element to my event to help sustain and grow our work at Our Place Support - providing critical mental health mentoring for children and young people as well as housing, employment and income advice for individuals that find themselves in challenge or crisis.

At the moment ...(And probably on the day too) I'm not sure how far I will get but I am giving the full 43 miles my very best shot!
