Help the children of WISH CDG raise money as they run the St Helens 2k on Sunday 28th Feb!
WISH CDG, is a local group supporting children and their families who live with Type One Diabetes.
Type One Diabetes is tough to manage, it flips your whole world upside down. For many of us involved with WISH CDG, our young children have been diagnosed with Type One, and through this group, have been able to find support and friendships with people who understand the daily struggles.
If we continue fundraising, this means our children don’t have to go through this alone. They can meet others going through the same journey, making friends and sharing their experiences with each other.
By helping us raise money, we can offer children and their families a support network, meeting up face to face once a month, and allowing the children to take a trip each year with the Nurses from Whiston and St Helens, to help them gain experience and knowledge whilst doing some really fun, adventurous activities!
