Ring of Fire is coming into its 10th year and has raised over £750k to date. This is a real cause to celebrate, and in true ROF tradition, this means more charity event and fund raising. Our charities again this year are Willen Hospice, MND Association (in support of open of our own - Ed Slater) and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) as well as supporting MK Rugby Club is growing and supporting our Minis & Juniors, Women’s and Men’s sections.
The year will comprise of a 2 and 5 day charity cycle covering over 650miles, dragon boat racing, walking a marathon (Paris), Swan swang (don’t ask), and more…. .I might even abseil!! Watch this space.
I won’t be cycling due to having dodgy knees but will be supporting the riders, donating my free time for some very worthy charities.
