My name is Natasha Salvador, and I am fundraising for StreetlightUK, a charity that provides specialist support to women involved in the sex industry.

I will be walking approximately 13 miles from North London (N9 0PD) to South London (SW2 1RW) to raise money and awareness for this important cause.

Women involved in prostitution in the UK have the highest murder rate compared to women in any other industry, and at least 75% of women involved in prostitution have been physically assaulted.

At StreetlightUK, we aim not only to raise awareness of these horrifying statistics but also to offer practical and emotional support and empower women to reclaim their lives.

This walk is an opportunity to provide hope and remind women that they do not have to go through their journeys alone. All donations will go directly towards our efforts to reduce the risk and impact of violence against women and girls and the associated harms of sexual exploitation, helping to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable women.
