Ring of Fire is in its 10th year and has raised over £900k to date. This is a real cause to celebrate, and in true ROF tradition, this means more charity events and fundraising. Our charities again this year are Willen Hospice, MND Association (in support of our own - Ed Slater) and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), local support groups focused on MS, homelessness and prostate cancer, as well as supporting MK Rugby Club in growing and supporting our Minis & Juniors, Women’s and Men’s sections.
This year's events include a 2 day (May) and 5 day (Sept) charity cycle covering over 450miles (and big hills), dragon boat racing, Swan Swang (don’t ask), and more - I opted out of the abseil though!!
Last year my tag line was “Older but not wiser” - this certainly proves the case. Can’t believe I’m now a pensioner 😎- it will be an incredible effort but it will all be worth it for the charities we support.
Your support for the events and these wonderful causes would be really appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your support
Terry
