This May, I’ll be taking on Yorkshire's highest peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough), and aiming to complete all three in under 12 hours.
That's a 24-mile trek with over 1,500 metres of ascent, all in one day.
Anyone who knows me well will know this is definitely outside my comfort zone. The lack of respectable toilet facilities is already a worry.
It's going to be tough but it's all for a cause that really matters.
I'll be raising money for PAPYRUS through the Emperor Foundation, a charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people.
Mental health can affect anyone, and like many people, I’ve experienced the loss of a friend to suicide. Knowing that support exists for young people when they need it most is incredibly important, and if that means single-handedly causing a national Compeed shortage, then so be it!
Anything at all that you can give would be hugely appreciated.
