The Foundation is a Registered Charity (1112571) and aims to provide a variety of activities for the benefit of the community across York and North Yorkshire. The Foundation aims to support the development of health, education, community, and Rugby League across the city of York and the wider region.

The Foundation has a vision to "Inspire Communities and Change Lives across York and North Yorkshire." The work of the Foundation couldn't happen without the support and generosity of many different businesses, organisations, and individuals. The funds raised through this appeal will be directly invested in helping our various projects.

Our dedicated volunteers have offered to participate in the Yorkshire 10-mile race taking place in York on October 20, 2024, to support the York RLFC Foundation. This event coincides with the Yorkshire Marathon.

With your assistance, our volunteers will raise essential funds that directly support all the Foundation's work in the local community. This builds on the success of the York 10k, where over £3000 was raised.

We want to express our gratitude to all the volunteers who will be running for us this year! Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and will be used directly to support our work in the community. This includes our Wheelchair Rugby League team, RugBees girls’ programme, Excel Player Development Program, and our Disability Rugby League teams.
