Mid Powys Youth Theatre changes young people’s lives.
“Honestly, MPYT saved my life. I don’t know who I would be, or who I would have become, without the social and artistic experiences I had at MPYT.”
“The only way I can describe MPYT is life changing. I don’t think there is a single part of my life that MPYT didn’t touch — and didn’t change for the better.”
For over 35 years, Mid Powys Youth Theatre has been a creative home for young people across our community.
We’ve seen future actors, performers, writers, directors, designers and technicians come through our doors — but more importantly, we’ve seen young people grow in confidence, build friendships, develop new skills and discover who they are.
Through weekly workshops, productions and creative projects, we introduce young people to professional artists and the many opportunities theatre can offer. We also run projects tailored to different ages and needs, making sure as many young people as possible can take part.
At the heart of everything we do is a belief that creativity can transform lives.
To keep providing these opportunities, we need your support.
By becoming a patron, you’ll be directly supporting a young person’s journey through MPYT — helping them access creative experiences, find their voice and become part of a supportive artistic community.
If MPYT’s work speaks to you, we’d love for you to join us.
