About
Andy, Bill, Steve & I retired in 2016 & are walking the South West Coastal Path - 629 & 3/4 miles. No mean feet as we have a combined age of 246 & some medical conditions - heart op (Andy); cancer op (Bill); I could do with a brain transplant; Steve pulled a fetlock running across Sweden. We started in Minehead May 2017 & are up to 273 miles, recently completing Carbis Bay to Penzance. We start phase 8 (Penzance to Porthoustock) on 25 March 2019 which will bring us up to the halfway point at 315 miles. We aim to finish in March 2021 (it's difficult to get diary space for 4 busy retirees!) and are walking for the Life Project Bath (http://www.lifeprojectbath.org.uk/) whose goals are to provide homes for life & meaningful occupation for people with Learning Disabilities (LD) in the BANES area, helping secure the future for our daughter Siobhan who has LD & autism, along with the other wonderful people in her peer group.
