I don't do running, I don't particularly like running but this looks FUN and I wanted to raise some money for a charity close to my heart so why not combine the two!
So what's a Color Obstacle Rush?
20 new, diverse and crazy fun obstacles, 8 colour stations & bunch of music around the course are the premises for the most amazing fun run ever!
I'll not only get doused with colour powder on 8 stations; I will also be dodging rapid fire of sponge balls, run from colour blasting Crazy Chaser, race on kangaroo bouncers, tumble through inflatable castles and speed down the new giant slides.
Foamy slip 'n' slides, rad balance beams, water balloon mayhem and other surprises complete your perfect Rush for the day!
Why Families United Network and who are they?
Families United Network (FUN) is a registered Charity and membership organisation which supports children and young people living with additional needs and disabilities throughout Bedfordshire.
They currently support around 380 families including my own. My son has additional needs and the charity have been a lifeline for us in the 4 years we have been using their services! I have also made some great friends here that understand the trials and tribulations of having an additional needs child so by taking part in the Color Obstacle Rush 5k 2016 I hope to give something back and raise them some much needed FUNds!
