Great Trees of London Challenge in memory of Jillian Khan-Panni.
Jill Khan-Panni was wife to Aziz, mother to Adam and Raissa, sister to Char, Piers and Sal, “Gaggy’ to Finn, Joe, Milo, Leo, Ted, Lila and Rafi, much-loved mother-in-law to Leanne, sister-in-law to Farid, Auntie to many nieces and nephews, Godmother and a brilliant and life-long friend to many.
Jill was a passionate gardener/grower and stylish garden designer. Socially conscious, Jill also used her considerable skills in the community, as a leader/organiser and successful charity fundraiser for Centre 70, an advice, counselling and wellbeing charity, based in West Norwood - her corner of South East London.
To honour Jill, her family pledge to visit all 46 Great Trees of London, as featured on Paul Wood’s map, by the end of 2025. Where possible, we will be following trails set out in Paul Wood’s book, “London is a Forest”, raising funds for Centre 70 as we go.
If any family or friends would like to join us on a leg of this challenge, please email adam.panni@outlook.com for more information and upcoming trails.
