In June I am taking part in Velothon Wales: a challenging 140km ride in the Welsh hills. This will be the first big event for me after (hopefully) recovering from a broken collarbone and ribs in March when I had to pull out of Gran Fondo Barcelona. I'm not expecting to break any records as I won't be able to get much training in but I will be very happy to finish, upright, with no broken bones!!
I am raising money for The Hunts Community Cancer Network http://www.huntscommunitycancernetwork.org/ a local charity for whom I am also a Trustee. HCCN help those diagnosed with cancer live with the disease by offering support and education on how diet, exercise and well-being can improve quality of life through free workshops, courses and seminars in the community.
Thank you xxx
