In March, I'll be running the South Cheshire half marathon and then exactly 2 months later in May, I’ll be taking those tired legs on a 24 mile hike up and down Yorkshire's highest peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough), and aiming to complete all three in under 12 hours.
As someone who's injured pretty much every part of my lower body over the last 2 years and who is a 2 hours-and-hot-choc hiking kinda gal, this will be a challenge - but one that I'm gonna grit my teeth and get through for the amazing charity were supporting.
I'll be raising money for PAPYRUS through the Emperor Foundation, a charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people.
Knowing that this kind of support exists is so important and could have a positive impact for so many people.
