We are Aidan Outen's grandparents,
We are challenging ourselves to raise money for Aidan’s Activity Fund. we are both registered disabled, Beverley has problems walking because of arthritis and has recently broken right ankle and two years ago broke right foot and left ankle, the joints are still causing a lot of pain. she also has fibromyalgia which affeets every part of her body causing nerve pain. even a 50 foot distance is really painful to walk so this is going to be a really hard challenge to complete but is determined to persevere and do it for Aidan. Les has a fear of heights he even struggles to go up a ladder to repair anything on our bungalow but is very determined to do this challenge. Aidan suffered so much more in his short life that we feel we have to push ourselves in his memory.Any money raised will allow them to continue to supply the children’s wards at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, with activities and craft items to help distract children being treated at the hospital. Aidan’s Activity Fund is a local charity set up in memory of Aidan Outen.
Aidan fought a hard battle with a rare Cancer losing his life aged just 12. the only thing aidan complained about throughout his gruelling treatment was that he was bored.
