"Little steps = Big dreams" 

Hi, I’m Josh!

I’m 19 and one of the original This Is Us dancers. I’ve recently left school and I’m about to begin the next chapter of my life -  but I can’t imagine my next chapter without This Is Us being part of it.

On Sunday 17th January, I’ll be taking on my own version of a marathon: learning 10 different dance styles in just 5 hours!

I’ve always wanted to learn more styles of dance, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to challenge myself, step outside my comfort zone and, most importantly, raise money for a cause that means so much to me.

My fundraiser is called “Little steps = Big dreams” because I truly believe that little steps can create huge opportunities. Throughout the day, some of my This Is Us friends will be joining me to help me learn the different styles. Then, at the end of the challenge, I’ll put everything I’ve learnt to the test by teaching my friends all 10 styles in one session!

This Is Us has been such an important part of my life. It has given me opportunities, friendships, confidence, memories and a place where I’ve always felt like I belong. As I move into my next chapter, I want to help make sure that other dancers can have those same opportunities in the future.
