Luke’s London to Brighton Cycle Ride Fundraiser
On Sunday 13th September, I will be taking on the iconic London to Brighton cycle ride - an inspiring challenge that tests endurance, determination and spirit.
But for me, this journey is about more than just crossing the finish line. It’s about making a meaningful difference.
I am proudly cycling in support of The Bedfordshire Down Syndrome Support Group, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals with Down Syndrome and their families across the region. The group provides vital resources, community connections and opportunities that help people thrive and I am passionate about helping them continue their incredible work.
This cause is especially close to home, as The Bedfordshire Down Syndrome Support Group is the chosen charity of Mead Open Farm, where I work. Seeing firsthand the positive impact the charity has on the community has inspired me to step up and take on this challenge.
The London to Brighton ride is no small feat, covering approximately 55 miles and including the famous climb up Ditchling Beacon. It will require months of preparation, resilience and commitment.
By supporting my fundraiser, you’re not just helping me reach Brighton, you’re helping to create opportunities, provide support and build a stronger, more inclusive community for people with Down Syndrome.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you for supporting me on this journey and helping to power every pedal stroke toward a brighter future.
