Hello, We could have done a half marathon, or even a marathon but no we are doing an Ultra marathon!! We are 'running' from London to Brighton on 26th May 2018. We are training hard and have been through the winter in the rain, freezing wind and snow! This is a massive challenge - both mentally and physically, and puts us firmly out of our comfort zones. We are living some of the school virtues by being brave, persevering and learning to read a map (this last one is not proving easy!!) to raise money for this very special school. We are raising money for Floreat Wandsworth Primary School in South West London. The academy school opened 3 years ago with an empty library, limited or no sporting equipment, no art or music supplies and empty walls. The new purpose built school now has 211 children and is growing by 60 each year. Each child is different and has different needs, the teachers are amazing and are making a difference to each and every child, every day. We hope to be active role models for our own children and all the children whilst raising funds for much needed resources and provisions that will help the kids and school to continue to flourish.
