Shonna and I are embarking on a 250km Arctic dog sledding challenge high up in the Arctic Circle. During this 7 day Extreme challenge we will be experiencing-30 degrees and be wholly responsible for the care of our own individual team of huskies. The heavier you are , the more huskies you get, 2 more for Mary, 2 less for Shonna! We will be camping throughout the trip with limited resources in every way!
It’s been 2 years since our last fundraiser climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and we agreed after that no more mountains so this will be an amazing experience and challenge.
We are doing this for the Befrienders as they supported my Mum and Shonna’s Aunty Betty when times were tough for all of us, and we are eternally grateful. They help many elderly people beat loneliness and isolation in the outreach villages, so please if you can. donate to our local Cause, we will all be elderly one day🙏
