I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in April 2015, but with the help and support of my family, friends and WISH I am determined it will not stop me doing anything I want to do.
I have been lucky enough to attend an activity weekend at Newlands with my Diabetic team from Wheaton in April funded by WISH. It is a fab weekend taking part in outdoor activities and spending time with the team to learn to self manage my Diabetes.
I am raising money to fund another Newlands weekend so other children can take advantage of this fab opportunity.
