Milla was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 in January 2016. Since the diagnosis Milla has countless injections of insulin, finger prick tests and has to watch what she eats. As a parent, we have to adminster the insulin, monitor food and help her monitor her sugars. Its a vert lonely place. We were put in touch with the WSH CDG who raise money for Children over St.Helens and Widnes who have Type 1. They take us on days out, raise money for Diabetes UK and basically help us to not feel alone.
On the 24th September, we will be completing a fun run in sherdley park to help raise funds. Yes its a Sunday so no beer on Saturday night.
