York RLFC Foundation is a Registered Charity (1112571) & aims to provide a range of activities for the benefit of the community across York & North Yorkshire. The Foundation aims to support the development of health, education, community and rugby league across the city of York and wider region. The Foundation has a vision to ‘Inspire Communities and Changing Lives across York and North Yorkshire.’​The work of the Foundation couldn’t happen without the support and generosity of many different businesses, organisations and individuals. The funds raised through this appeal will be directly invested into helping our various projects.

Father and son duo Nick and Lucas are taking on a Triathlon this weekend at York Sport. Lucas will be taking part in the kids Triathlon on Saturday 16th Aug in the 8-11 age category (50m swim, 2km cycle and 1km run), whilst Nick will be taking part in the Open age Triathlon on Sunday 17th Aug (400m swim, 20km bike and 5km run). Both have kindly offered to do their respective triathlons in aid of York RLFC Foundation, to help raise vital funds for all our programmes we run in York and North Yorkshire. Lucas himself has been inspired to raise funds after a number of teachers and representatives from his school kindly volunteered and took part in the recent York 10k also in aid of the Foundation.

We would like to say a big thank you to both Nick and Lucas for this kind offer and any donation towards their challenge is greatly appreciated and will go directly towards our work in the community, including our Wheelchair Rugby League team, RugBees girls programme, Excel Player Development Programme and our Disability Rugby League teams.
