So Paul and I got married early this year and we became the Waltons. We decided to not only commit to each other this year but to also commit to one of the most challenging runs in the North East which is the Great North Run! A gruelling 13mile and lets face it, its probably going to rain too. This is something we have both thought about in the past but we have never had the ‘get up and go’ to do it until now! What are we thinking!! We are honoured to be running for a charity that we both love and support called Hug in a Bag. Its a charity that gives an extra hug to those affected by breast cancer and was founded by three incredible women who have been through it all. This charity gives bags containing gifts and information leaflets to every person diagnosed with breast cancer in University Hospital of North Durham and Royal Victoria Hospital Blackpool.
