The charity I work for - Life Project (Bath) is aiming to raise £30,000 by the end of March and is running Fundraising February to encourage people to take on a fundraising challenge during the month of February to raise money.
Life Project (Bath) creates and models supportive community for people with learning disabilities, their families, and carers. It is a wonderful charity and we would love to see some of the ideas we have to support more people to come into fruition - as well as keeping our existing services running in the face of rising costs.
I said if I raised £1000 I would go all the way to a close shave all over... that still stands but I'm feeling safe as the total is sitting around the £200 mark on the day of the big shave. So, the hair is now gone (thanks to my kids) with a buzz cut and my chin is smooth.
